You cannot adjust the RGB of the keyboard directly in the VIA Software. Use the QMKLighting section in VIA, assign lighting command values to your keyboard (For example BL+, BL-, Hue+, Hue-, Sat+, Sat-), and adjust the lighting on the keyboard.
You do not need to use one of your macros to do a simple key combination like GUI + N or CTRL + N. Instead, inside via go to Special and then click Any:
Once you click the Any button a dialog will pop up. You can insert any singular keycode you like, this includes those codes that have modifiers. In our example we used GUI (Mac OS Command) and N:
Once you hit confirm, you'll see your new key looks like this:
Go to the key tester and you can confirm this is now working! You can find a list of modifier keys that are usable here.
We think that all-in-one file packs will make things easier, we have zipped the manual, the .json, and VIA together in a package for your convenience.
The keyboard can now be remapped online, use https://usevia.app/ and load /kb64g-.json to start remapping your board. Alternatively, you can use VIA to remap your Console 64 Keyboard offline.
